Antibiotics- Medical Interventions

Okay so pretty much what we have been doing this chapter is studing a bunch of different bacteria and how antibiotics help control and destroy the bacteria. One of our assignments was to take a series of colored chips and roll a dice to see how much it took as a game for the antibiotic to kill off the bacteria. Then we each had a different bacteria we had to study and then give a 5 minute speach about, determining how this bacteria was contracted, how it was spread, and if this bacteria was curable or not. Ours luckily was, but a specific type could not be treated and became antibiotic resistant. Overall this was a very interesting chapter and would be great to continue learning about.
