I Hate Public Speaking- Speech

When I stand up and look at the podium, and see all those people in front of me, about to listen to a speech I have prepaired for days before the presentation itself, I have a hard time speaking. Yes, many of us have this, butterflies in the stomach, shaky knees, sweat dripping from our foreheads, but it is just one of those mountains we will have to climb. I watched this video about people not liking to speak in public, and I can totally relate to it. I think the message they are trying to get across is that I am not alone and that we are not alone when we are afraid to stand up and talk about something we know and love. It tells exactly what I feel when I get up on that podium. Its like a stage fright, but with the possibility you are by yourself and not with 30 other kids at a christmas program and you mess up. I think it is just basically saying that we need to just chill out and really public speaking is not as bad as people think it can be. Yes it is very nerve-racking, but once you have made your speech, you feel like your on top of the world.

It's not really saying the last sentence, but it's a nice thought. You got the basic message, though.
